Amar Kaushik is back with Bala in which the film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam.

Ayushmann Khurrana is playing role of sales executive who is an eligible bachelor in every possible way, but is struggling with premature baldness and tying himself up in knots. Bala showcased the Baldness with so many comic instances and this is the main reason why one should watch this movie.

“Cinema is the Mirror of Society”, and Bala is the best example to support this statement. In this Dramedy Movie, the film is trying to showcase the societal mental blocks that make people to focus upon their outer look and leads to loose their confidence.

The role of the ‘antagonist’ and Bala’s love interest is assigned to Pari Mishra (Yami Gautam), Lucknow’s self-styled supermodel and TikTok sensation. Latika Trivedi (Bhumi Pednekar) is playing role of Ayushmann’s classmate from school, who he grew up ridiculing for her complexion.

Without turning overly judgmental about anyone or anything, the Bala movie is touching upon sensitive issues while forming valid points. On the surface level, Bala is poking fun at society’s quest for attention and how looks play a major part in our life. The narrative tries to pull it off with some good ironic flourishes.

You must watch Bala for sure if you like watching light comedy movie and if you believe in this myth that looks matters to build up the confidence, this movie will surely break this misperception of yours.
